Polishing and waxing

Postby Thechimp » Tue Jul 02, 2013 4:45 pm

I am about to get my new car and need advice on detailing.

I wil be getting a new fiesta in candy blue.

This is a pearlescent paint. What is the best way to polish wax?

And what is the best product.

Our other car is a metallic again same question as above.

First time trying this detaling game and just need advice

Yeah at Halfords you can basically find what you need, that's my favourite shop too if I'm looking for polishing & waxing products. You might also want to check if you can get discounts of any of those products by looking on Voucherbox, might save you some money if you buy products in larger quantities. Just a thought.

By the way, my personal opinion is that it's not really the product that counts when polishing or waxing a car, it's the effort and the time you spend doing it. Too many times I have seen cars with scratches on the paint, all because of people not taking enough time to do it. Don't know what your thoughts about this are, but it's what I think!
