Clay bars. Do they go 'off'

Postby mikr » Sat Jul 09, 2016 7:17 pm

Hi all, been a little while since I posted anything (been watching too much Ammo NYC on youtube), but now I've a question that I can't find an answer for by using Google.

Does a clay bar go off?

I bought some Valet pro clay (yellow) and when I first used it it was fine, like a soft malleable rubber, but now I've gone to use the other half (I tore it in half and only used the 1 half) it's gone sticky, for want of a better word, it has a really tackiness to it. When I unwrap it from its plastic I leaves an oily sticky residue on the plastic. That's not right, right?
