Re: Thinking about taking on a unit.

Thanks fella. I've been trying to crunch some numbers and luckily they seem to be quite favourable, with regards how much extra work I would need to make the unit pay for itself. Although I must admit this is without including an adjustment to my insurance. Which obviously will make a difference as ...

Thinking about taking on a unit.

Re: Wax Mix

I'd have thought something low heat like steaming would be the best idea. But isn't there the chance of flammable gasses being given off once it gets hot enough. Lots of waxes have parrafin and stuff in them don't they?

Re: How many people valet with steam cleaners?

I've got one that I intended to use for door checks and roofs cloths, but I kept scalding myself trying to do roof cloths and it was just too much of a faff with the door checks so I haven't used it in ages.

Most recent decent job

Well this is the most recent proper job i.e not a mini valet before I had to down tools for my op. X5 the owner was very proud of but couldn't figure why it didn't look as good as when he first bought it. Turned out he was having it washed weekly at a drive through foam and brush place!!! ht...
